Qimage Ultimate v2014.225 crashes my Windows 8.1 as soon as I hit "Print".  Can edit perfectly.  Just can't hit print.

From Qimage Studio through Qimage Ultimate -- No Qimage version has ever crashed before.

Is there a work-around?  This weekend is an important printing weekend.

Install an older version that may still be in your download map. I went back to .221 as .225 would not load images on the print page the way I used to do. Vista install. Probably something new I have to learn but I had no time for that as jobs had to be done. Going to see Fred's video on the subject.

I have to reboot into MY W8.1 and install 225.
Will report back.
In the meantime, can you supply some information as to what printer you are using, and perhaps, what size print, what size paper, and anything else like is your W 8.1 32 bit  ot 64?

Ok I am in my W 8.1 with Ultimate 225 and have printed through both my printers and all is working perfectly.
Can you describe what you actually get when you say you click, PRINT?
Any error message? What do you mean by "crashes"?  Does your screen lock up? Does Qimage create the print file and then crashes, or it crashes before it creates the print file?
Does it happen if you change to another image?
Help!!

Interestingly v .225 has corrupted the printer or setup files and, at first attempt, suggested a reset while loading on my Win 7 Pro 64 bit.

I don't remember this extent of a problem having occurred before.

Of course the particular QIU version may have nothing to do with the corruption.

Restoring QIU defaults upon startup did not work.

The solution seems to be to restore a recent backup.
