Qimage with the new generation Canon printers 4600

As I have previously communicated I have had my share of issues using Qimage with both my HPZ3200 (well known) and my Epson P900 (lesser known but still...). I am considering to purchase one of the new generation of Canon printers, probably the 4600. They seem to be more clog resistant, less troublesome and have more positive reviews than the large Epson printers. Does Qimage communicate reliably with the Canon printer drivers? I really don't want to face the same issues I have had in the past after shelling out bucks for a new large format printer. Please advise.

If you were having issues, the issues were not with Qimage. Qimage doesn't communicate with printers or drivers (that is the job of the OS) and it will work perfectly with any printer that offers a Windows printer driver including the Z3200, P900, and Canon Pro-4600. Keep in mind that the AI Copilot driver features are designed to work with nearly all current Canon and Epson printers but there are a handful of exceptions where it is recommended that you turn all the AI Copilot features off. I have no idea how the AI Copilot features function with the Pro-4600 as they are too new but suffice it to say if you have ANY issues at all, just turn those off and you can use Qimage like you would any other software: Lightroom, Photoshop, Affinity, etc.
Regards,
Mike
