Title: RAW "filter" nondestructive? Post by: dadu007 on April 17, 2012, 05:46:44 PM Hello All,
I'm new to Qimage Ultimate (was using Studio version for basic printing). I'm exploring the RAW editor in QU. After I edit a RAW file I see that I can right-click and choose "Remove RAW Filters" and the image reverts to its original state. Does this mean QU is nondestructive in its RAW editing? I don't want to permanently change my original RAW files and I don't want to have to create a copy of the RAW files just for editing if I don't have to... Thanks, Dan Title: Re: RAW "filter" nondestructive? Post by: Terry-M on April 17, 2012, 06:35:52 PM Hi Dan,
Quote Does this mean QU is non-destructive in its RAW editing? Yes that is correct. A small file is stored alongside the raw image with the extension *.qrs.This is a the same as the non-destructive image editor (double click a thumbnail to open); the adjustment file is this case is *.flt for "filter".
