I have tested QImage Ultimate(14Day trail) in December but it didnīt liked my Raw-Pic files from my Canon R6 .It will show it once (thumbnails)but then, it will update the thumbnails in a endless loop without showing them and the whole application isnīt reacting. Can anyone with a Canon R3/5/6/710 confirm that the new Version of Qimage can handle the Raw-files of the new Canonīs.
Or is there a setting ,that will deactivate the preview of the .cr3 files(raw pics),and i can use Qimage to work with jpegīs and tiffīs.

I have a bunch of R6 samples here (downloaded from Imaging Resource) and the CR3 raws all work fine.  I think Imaging Resource used the uncompressed CR3 format: Qimage uses LibRaw so if you are storing compressed CR3's, I don't know if those are supported.

But you can turn them off if you like: use View, Include File Types, and uncheck Raw.

I  have bought Qimage and the newest version behave the same. What version of LibRaw are you using in the newest Qimage? The actual version of LibRaw should support Canons R6 compressed Cr3.

I believe it is 0.21.  The imaging library that I use updates it whenever there is a new LibRaw release so it'll end up in Qimage within about a month of when it was released.  You can download LibRaw yourself and check it if you like.  I did in January and compressed CR3 files were still not supported.  There is no note in the LibRaw changelog about supporting compressed CR3 files so I doubt they have cracked it yet.

Whenever LibRaw has it, Qimage will have it shortly thereafter.  I have no control over when other companies update their libraries.

You are welcome.  The update to the LibRaw add-on that I use just came out yesterday and I knew this was hanging so I updated everything and got it out the same day that I got access to the update.  Smiley

Mike
