Title: RAW image dimensions not processed correctly
Post by: wolverine@MSU on May 16, 2021, 09:30:03 AM
When adding a processed RAW image to the queue, I noticed that the dimensions of the preview print were incorrect (square appearance vs. rectangular).  Inspection of the Embedded Information reveals that QU is not reading (or interpreting) the EXIF info properly.  The left side of the attachment below shows how QU "sees" the RAW file.  The right side shows a resultant TIFF made by converting the RAW file, which shows the proper dimensions.  The RAW file is being read as a 48-bit image when it's actually a 24-bit image.  I would like to print by adding RAW files to the queue rather than having to convert them to another format before printing.  Anyone know what's going on.  I've tried searching the forum but can't find anything addressing this.  It started happening when I switched to Windows 10 from Windows XP.

LibRaw doesn't seem to decode the resolution properly for that particular camera.  I'll see if I can get a fix for the next release.

Mike

Did this problem get fixed for the new (QU 2022) release?  I want to upgrade, but it's not worth it to me if the problem still persists in the new release.

I'm using the latest LibRaw available to me and the S9000 is still not supported.  It'll be supported automatically once I get updated code.
