Rotate what? The page orientation, image rotate, print rotate on the page?
Always remember to select (click on) the one you want to rotate.

The rotate function works fine so as Fred said, give us a little information so we can help. Since the problem is not Qimage, we need to know what you are doing, what you see, and how that differs from what you expect. Screenshots help. You say your problems are "too many to list"... but if you don't care enough to "list" them, I'm pretty sure no one here is going to care enough to try to guess what they are.

Mike

Thanks for the reply.. I know... odd... There are 2 areas to rotate the image, to the right in 'prints'. The other by double clicking the image page. neither will rotate the image. In the second, the 3rd button the the left, showing the 'auto rotate' it will not disengage.
On some occasions it will function if I delete the image in que and reput it back. very frustrating to have to do that. something is holding this function in place. This is not the only occurrence. There are other functions that do the same thing.

I'd still like to know what you are trying to accomplish, what you are expecting, and what you actually see. You said you tried double clicking the image to rotate the image. That will work... to rotate the image as you see it in screen if you want to view the image full screen or preview it on screen. But rotating the
image
in this fashion has no effect on prints on the live view if you are using auto print placement because the live view will still decide the best orientation of the print to optimize space.
You need to understand the difference between rotating an
image
and rotating a
print
and when to use either/both, which is why I need to know what you are trying to accomplish. I can only assume you want to rotate a print on the live view. To do that, you can click on the print on the live view to select it and then use the rotate buttons on the Prints tab. This
will
work to rotate prints on the live view provided you are not asking it to do something impossible like putting an 8x10 on an 8.5x11 page and then asking it to rotate the 8x10 (obviously it can't).
So post a screenshot and show us what you are doing. If you can't post a screenshot, at least tell us what you are trying to accomplish. We still don't know what you are trying to rotate (image or print), why you are doing it, how much you are trying to rotate it, etc.

I also just did a video response that covers image and print rotation. Everything you need to know in 6 minutes:

Nice vid! There were some subtleties I didn't appreciate and it made things extremely clear. Thanks!
(Fred and I have the same problem- put us in the wrong orientation and we may not be able to get up.)
