Title: Recall printersettings Post by: Martin van Gog on February 23, 2023, 10:56:43 AM Hi,
I've in the upper part of 'printer/media' chosen my default printer (Epson SC-P900). When I click on the icon to recall saved profiles, by default the search option is 'set-ups for all printers'. I get a long list. When trying to filter the results, by choosing 'current printer', I get an 'empty' list. by scrolling manually, I'm able to find the profile I want. What are I doing wrong? With regards, Martin Title: Re: Recall printersettings Post by: Fred A on February 23, 2023, 11:44:28 AM Quote View Profile Email Personal Message (Offline) Recall printersettings « on: Today at 06:56:43 AM » Reply with quoteQuote Modify messageModify Remove messageRemove Split TopicSplit Topic Hi, I've in the upper part of 'printer/media' chosen my default printer (Epson SC-P900). With regards, Martin Martin you missed two items. 1) You should use the fine tuned box shown inthe snap to narrow your selection. 2) Simply set up a printer setup recall as shown. Click on the yellow envelope in the Printers and Settings Tab. Your big box opens. NOW you can see a smaller selection arrow at the bottom :SETUP for PRINTERS. Open that and make your selections.. These selections are based on the assumption that you have created printer setups. SUCH AS" I have an 8 x 10 print set on 8.5 x 11 paper; Epson Ultra Glossy and the proper profile. PLUS any other accoutrements such as borders, notations, etc. You save these using the Save Setup button to the right of that yellow folder icon at the right side of your screen. See in snap 097 what I have saved for my Epson 8550. I am a dedicated setup person so I can choose the paper, size, print and profile setup already set for me. Hope this helps Fred |
