What the heck!  I got about 7 weeks left in Ultimate (exp. 11-16) and I get this message that "My email address is not in the database" and it won't update to 2012.200?

Bug?

"My email address is not in the database"

If that appears on screen after typing your email address and clicking SEND, it is possible that you are using a different email address from the one you used when you made the purchase.
It happens quite often.
Try again.
Try the automatic way.
Open Qimage Ultimate and click HELP and ABOUT, and UPDATE NOW.

Fred-

New error message (screen two following the "Okay to send email"' which shows my correct email address) is now "Unable to contact registration verification server.  Please try again later."  Got that message about 4 hours ago too after I got the first error of "Email address is not in our database" error message which is now gone.

Haven't changed my email address and the "Okay to send email to" is my correct one as sown on screen one of the update.

Something screwy someplace?

Sounds like a firewall or antimalware program is blocking the internet from QU.  You can do the same thing on the online form, so just enter your email address in here and click send:

http://www.ddisoftware.com/forms/qimage-u.html

If you have trouble: if your web browser displays a message referring to the password being sent "in an insecure manner", your web security is likely set too high in Internet Explorer.  In IE, you can use "Tools", "Internet Options" and click the "Security" tab at the top and slide your security level no higher than "Medium-high" to resolve this issue.  We do use the industry standard HTML password protection so this message is
in error.  It really doesn't matter in this case anyway since you are not even using your password: you are using ours.

Thanks Mike.  That route worked.

Don't know why all the issues from within the "Yellow Logo" from within the Help > About Qimage on updating give me the errors.  It used to work, and same anti-virus firewall running (AVG). First one that was puzzling was the "Email not in our database" which I assume made it to the server connection.  Second was, "Unable to connect to verification server" (and that one is still there in 20120.200 as well).  From within the "Yellow Logo" I can get the "Release notes" webpage.  Just the "Update" link gives me errors.  Dunno.

Fwiw, I use Firefox as my default browser.  I did check the security in IE and it is at Medium.
