Greetings! On my monitor, the Print Queue displays only 5 entries. I have tried to resize it to show more entries. I would really like that Print Queue to use more screen area, but I can't find any handles or options to do this. How does one resize the Print Queue?

Hi, Fred. I do see the scroll bars, but what I want is to see more queue entries without scrolling. So I want to reduce the size of the preview area and increase the size of the "Job Properties/Print Queue" using a drag handle, just like the vertical one used to resize the "Folders/Thumbnails" areas.

If you look at my screen snap, you'll see I have ample room to expand the queue without affecting anything except making better use of otherwise wasted screen space. I'm using a 2560x1440 pixel monitor. In this job, which I ran yesterday, expanding the print queue wouldn't shrink or cover the preview panel. I don't know what the text tags are.

I've been using Qimage daily in my commercial business for years and I've always wanted to be able to expand the queue because I often run jobs of more than 5 images. The right side of the screen has always had wasted space--why would I not want to adjust the UI to use it? For one thing, it would make such operations as drag-and-drop image replacement much easier.

Fred, my preview panel correctly represents the "sheets" as I print them, in this case on 24" wide roll stock trimmed to a 14" length. I print on roll stock almost exclusively and I routinely run jobs of more than 5 images. Why would I want to turn it to portrait mode? But that's not the point. What you're saying is the program doesn't let me resize the print queue. That answers my original question and I understand it.

But you're also suggesting that I'm somehow not justified in wanting to adjust the size of the print queue because that would reduce the space available for the preview panel. To that I would say, yes and I would be perfectly fine with that. Look, it's just a preview panel and Qimage correctly orients it, but in doing so, in my case, so that there is a large unused area. I just want to use that area productively, and I don't need to see a bigger preview; what I actually need to see is more of the print queue. That seems justification enough and it makes sense to me that this is a trade-off best made by the user, as it might vary from job to job.

But anyway, my original question has been answered.
