Thanks Mike & the dedicated forum techs!   I'll never cease to be gratified by this program.....the $ value here is unequaled.

There is no doubt an unchecked or checked box lurking here:  Two square images (identical) on a letter size sheet w/ample margins.  If I try to rotate either, - or+ 90, QU seems to have its own idea....180...or?   Same problem with Floating Text.

Another problem:   I created a templated & saved layout.  When I "run" the layout & click thumbnail(s) "+",  (2 up on a letter sheet) - All's well.  BUT if I click a "-" to replace an image, the whole works is deleted - back to an empty letter sheet - no layout, no images.  ...like, I get a whack on the knuckles for loading the wrong image - "Go directly to square one, don't pass "Go", don't collect......

I wonder if QU thinks the image I loaded is really crappy?

Thanks again,

I can't see what your problem is here, all works as I would expect following normal mathematical conventions for positive & negative rotation. In the page editor, the text in the menu item makes it clear what will happen and works as it says. Same with floating text, eg. entering 270 deg gives the same result as -90 deg - all logical.

I think the problem here is that you have both images selected on the page preview (blue line around images); they should not all be selected if you wish to remove one image. Right mouse click and de-select all. When using a template, use this technique to clear the queue and you will be asked if the template should remain in use.

Thanks, Terry.  Just getting back on this.

I was trying to rotate an image in Full Page Editor/Adjust/Image effects -  or also "R Left"/"R Right".  It was rotating 180 whether I emptied or typed +90 or -90 in the "Rotate" box.  It was even rotating 180 and filling in a 90 or a 180 in the box.  Rotating images using the "Print Properties" dialogue will be just fine.

Deselecting images before clicking the minus sign to remove.  Thanks a lot for the tips.  I don't mind wearing a dunce hat...the facility of the program is worth it.  But next time I'll search & read the Help/Functions text more thoroughly.

Thanks,

That is not the Full Page Editor, it's the Image Editor. I think you had conflicting settings in that and the Print Properties/Page Editor. The latter 2 are the same.

Thanks Terry.  I'm now better acquainted with the various "editor" dialogues, their names and purposes.  The rotation arrows in "Print Properties" seem to be all I'll need for my work.

On another topic....There are 16 "faces" to help us communicate in our forum emails.   Which one says..."Your charming", how about dinner and a show?"  Not you, Terry! -   ....Fred!     I'm sure I don't need a yellow face icon right here.  However I'm concerned that if the face gallery grows to twenty-five, Mike may need to write a glossary.   e.g.  #15 appears to be puckering-up.

HELP!,

I'm sorry. Terry and I are pals. We are friends with benefits!!   We have been Skyping each other for years.
So "dinner and a show" invitations must be extended to both or neither.  Tongue Lips Sealed Shocked Grin

Thanks anyway!

Right On, Fred,  I understand - friends, AND huge pillars in the church of QImage.  I'm sure that Mike has often passed on his Kudos to you two (and others) for helping "build" THE premier printing app.

Sorry, Fred.  You only used 11 "faces" in your post....no Guinness! ...record, that is.
