Occasionally, I have a need to print document type files using (one color) selected from one of the colors on my Photo Printers.  I use Qimage Ultimate for printing photo files but as far as i Know, I am not aware if Qimage can print these file types
Of Course, this includes these various file Types (File Extensions)  TXT, DOC, RTF, WDB, BAT, PDF, INF. CMD plus others.
Is there any way (settings, etc) for Qimage_U to print as per above.

Hope I did this right since it has been so long since i visited this Forum

Hi Vernon,

Welcome back!  No, Qimage doesn't handle the document types.  Since they are considered documents, they are encoded with formatting and other text related items which Qimage isn't designed to handle.  If you just want one color from a document, I guess you could screen capture the document or otherwise save it as a TIFF or JPEG and then use that in Qimage to select your color with the color dropper.

Regards,
Mike

The file types I listed as far as I know do not have the encoding somewhat like MS Word has.

Some do... some don't.  TXT does not for example but DOC and PDF are fully formatted and can contain text attributes, formatting, margins, embedded images, etc.
