I'm moving Qimage Ultimate from an older PC to a newer PC. Copied old C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\ddisoftware\Qimage from old PC to newer PC and edited some of the Saved job files in Notepad to update image paths. (I also know that it's possible to drag a current image file onto a red hatched preview rectangle if a job shows up with a "missing" image file.) So far, so good.

However, on the new installation, I'm not able to access my old roll paper User Defined sizes, e.g. a 17x22 inch roll paper job shows up previewed on Letter Size paper and my old roll paper User Defined sizes don't appear in the drop-down menu of the printer/page setup.

I notice that there are Xs on all my *.job file icons, but the same issue appears on the old machine, yet Qimage Ultimate was functioning fine on it. I wonder if I just need to locate the roll paper User Defined sizes? If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Qimage Ultimate v2014.208
Intel Core Duo CPU @ 3 GHz + 3 GB RAM; NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT video card
Windows XP Pro SP3 (until later tonight, if I can resolve this issue, then on to Windows 7 on the new machine and Ubuntu on the older PC ;-)

PS my driver versions are both the same (5.52, from 2006) on the old instance of the Epson 4000 on the older computer and in the new instance of the Epson 4000 installed on the newer computer.

I compared Printer Test Pages from both machines and tried overwriting the .dll, .exe, .prm, .cfg, .dxt and .dat files that it said the driver was using in the new C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\3 from the older machine's Windows System folder. All were identical.

Searching by date modified, I couldn't find any other files in the old Windows System folder that might be associated with the Epson 4000 and which might contain more recent User Defined paper sizes that I created in the last few years.

An experiment: I created a new User Defined paper size via Qimage Ultimate on my older computer and saved it. Then did a search of my drive for any files created in the last 24 hours, and sorted them by time/date. I copied over onto the newer computer all the ones selected, and all but the Qimage Prefetch file highlighted over-wrote the existing files. That file gave me an in-use kind of error. But voilą, my paper sizes are back!

I don't understand why I have red X's on my .job files, and they may be the reason I am finding that I'm not able to recall all my saved jobs completely. But having the older version of Qimage gives me something to mirror as I migrate and rebuild my saved job folder.

Now reinstalled under Windows 7 Pro 64 bit with Epson's version 6.50 driver and updating to Qimage Ultimate version qu14-210.exe. The red X's are gone from my job files, which makes me think my older PC that was running XP was getting a little buggy.

I copied my old Save and Log folders into C:\ProgramData\ddisoftware\Qimage\Save, but also saw them in C:\ProgramData\ddisoftware\Qimage\Save and C:\Program Files (x86)\Qimage-U. (see attached) I guess that's a Windows 7 thing; just went through reinstalling Eudora 7 and encountered similar split file folder placements.

I am wondering again how to import my set of custom User Defined paper sizes now that the printer driver has changed... I have a sinking feeling I may have to copy them manually one at a time from Qimage on my old XP machine before I install Ubuntu on that PC.
