Rendering intent and BPC only apply when using a profile.

So if there's no printer profile, it doesn't apply. It is left enabled because you might want to change the settings even with no printer profile selected so that when you DO select a printer profile at a later time, it uses your preferred settings since those details aren't displayed on the main window.
