I get the attached message when i log into Q image I reinstalled a few times
I also get the message cant open file q.bmp

It looks like you chose the program files folder as your application data folder which won't work on most systems.  Try reinstalling and when the application data folder option appears, choose a new folder like C:\ProgramData\ddisoftware\Qimage for example.
