Hi there.

I notice a strange behavior of Qimage.

Windows 10 with an Epson P800
Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper
Matt ink
The setting recommended by Hahnemuhle for this paper is: Epson 'Velvet Fine art Paper'.

- If I use Lightroom, the driver forces me to use the front sheet feeder if I set the quality to max.
However, if I set the quality option to 4, I can print on rolls.

- With Qimage, even if I lower the resolution, I can't print on rolls.
See attached screenshots.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for your help.

Do you have the option to force the highest res in the AI Copilot turned off?  Click the AI Copilot button on the top of the main UI and then uncheck the last option which forces max resolution in the driver.

The driver is still in max quality mode which disabled roll paper.  You have to change it after unchecking the highest quality option in AI Copilot.  Click "Properties", go into the driver, drop down "Print Quality", select "Quality Options", and select "4" for the quality instead of "5".

Once you "OK" out of the driver with the quality 4 setting, you can changer to roll paper.

Tested and working (see attached).

Yeah !

It works great with these settings  Smiley.
I thought if I put a low resolution in Qimage it would handle the driver.

Thanks for the tip.

Oh, no... That "resolution" is the resolution (PPI) that Qimage sends to the driver.  Driver "Quality" setting is different and doesn't equate to PPI but rather a "highest" to "lowest" gauge.

Think of Qimage's "Resolution" as how hard Qimage is running the driver, and the driver's "Quality" setting as how hard the driver is running the actual printer.
