When the program is in full screen, a strange vertical line appears on the screen. This has never happened before.

Two other people have reported this problem.  It is not a Qimage issue.  It is a video driver issue where a ghost window appears from another program because the window from the other program wasn't cleared completely.  Try downloading/updating your video driver to the latest and then reboot.  More details are in the original thread:

I have updated my graphics drivers and the same problem persists.
The funny thing is that by reinstalling versions 2011.111 or version 2023.101 the problem disappears.
It only appears if I install version 2023.106 or versión 2023.107

As far as I have been able to test, up to version 2023-104 it Works correctly.

As far as I have been able to test, up to version 2023-104 it Works correctly.

That doesn't really mean much.  Sometimes just the byte count and where the program gets loaded into memory affects things.  It's definitely not a Qimage issue.  You can look at your screenshot and tell that: the vertical line runs through SEVEN different controls on the window, all of which are aligned differently on the window, yet the line somehow ends up in the same (screen) position on all of them.  That means Qimage rendered the window properly and the problem lies in the code that renders the window onto your display: and that's either the video driver or Windows.

I assume you also rebooted?  It'd also be relevant to know:

- Your operating system version
- What video card you have
- The monitor/screen resolution on the monitor where you are displaying Qimage
- What your scaling/font size is set to in Windows

Mike

Update:

I was able to find reference to a bug in Windows 10/11 related to how Windows handles DPI on different monitors so I took a stab at a workaround and sent you a beta via email.  If you have time, please try the beta and let me know if it fixes the problem.  I can't test it here because I don't see the Windows bug on any of my systems.

Mike

Thanks for confirming the fix in the beta that I sent.  The fix is now live in 2023.108.

Mike
