Of all the improvements in this new version, the Noise Reduction changes got my eyes open.
Rebuild the thumbs of some images which had Noise Reduction turned on in the Editor.
Recheck the image and you will find that the NR filter's effect on DFS sharpening is now negligible, and conversely, the sharpening is no longer fighting the Noise Reducer.
Big Improvement!!
Now you can remove the noise, and still stay as sharp as you wish.
