Title: Thumbs
Post by: Anthony on February 03, 2018, 10:36:45 AM
I've had to swap my main hard drive and I've noticed close to 100,000 .dta files in the old Qimage installation located in ProgramData\ddisoftware\Qimage\Thumbs. Is Qimage supposed to manage these, or do they just accumultate? If the latter, can I delete them periodically?

Anthony,
Assuming the latest version, Qimage Ultimate has a new, simple screen for manual house cleaning.
See screen snaps. You will find  under the Utilities tab.
That having been said, it also automatically cleans out thumbs and cache files when you delete images.
So you have the tools to lighten and brighten as you wish.
