Hi-

Since the LR Classic CC upgrade last week was installed, I have a problem with files printed via the Plugin in QImage. Seems like printing the image straight out of QImage is fine. Did not occur prior to LR upgrade. Problem occurs on the trailing edge of a 24x12 print, and is a white line parallel to the direction of carriage travel, about 1.25" from end of print. Sometimes extends all the way across the image, sometimes there is a gap in the white line where image prints. Jobs sent via LR previous to LR upgrade show no problem.

Photo attached shows top print printed directly out of Qimage, print below via LR plugin. Looks like I'm losing data somewhere in the pipe.

Thanks for the report.  For it to be a problem with the plugin, the TIFF that LR exports would have to be corrupt (the TIF file would have to have that line).  Could you try hovering your mouse over the thumbnail of that image (after it has been exported with the plugin) and scroll to that area of the image and see if the image itself has the line in it?

Regards,
Mike

No lines visible in the tif, just at the printer. Bit of a mystery to me. So far the only work around has been to bring the image into Qimage via file browser.

Thanks.  Then I need further info.  What printer are you using and what is the exact size of the print?  I'd also likely need the image (TIFF exported from LR) to try to reproduce the problem.

Mike

OK, I downloaded the image and printed it at 20.63x11.61 and it printed without issue.  At this point, it looks like it could be an issue with the Z2100 driver.  In the driver settings (Properties button on the Printers and Settings tab), make sure there is no scaling going on inside the driver.  You may also want to click the "Reset preferences to printer defaults" button to the right of the Properties button and choose "Printer".  Then set up your driver settings from scratch.

If that doesn't help, my only other suggestion would be to uninstall the Z2100 driver and downloaded the latest driver for Win10.

Regards,
Mike

Thanks Mike, I'll run through that list and get back to you.
