Bill,
I've had some issues with my Maxtor USB drive where most of my images have resided.
Perhaps there's been corruption of data somewhere like the rotation tag in the image data.
It's a landscape format image that I've had set rotated 90 degrees for a letter size sheet in portrait mode, with a title and the artist's name below the image
I'm not clear how you want the image on the page, your screen shot seems to show what you say you want.
Do you want to see the image as Landscape on the Portrait page, ie. at right angles to what is shown on your screen shot?
If that is the case it wont work because the longer dimension of the print, 9.2" is greater than the width of the paper printable area at 8.497".
You should note too that because borderless is set, there will be some expansion of the image as indicated by 370 x 370 above the preview. Without borderless set it would be 360 x 360 ppi.
I suppose I could rotate the image 180 degrees in Photoshop and see if it then corrects the thumbnail, but that's a klunky kind of workaround.
So from that I assume the thumbnail is showing the image rotated to a portrait format rather than landscape?
No need to go to PS, use the QU image editor; right click the thumb, select Predefined filter and choose the appropriate {Q} Rotate .... filter.
However, you still should be able rotate on the page. Your second screen shot shows rotation set as "Don't Care Auto". I would think "90 Thumb Rotated Right" as most appropriate. However, if I have understood your requirement correctly, that will not be possible with the print/ page size combination as I said above.
Please let me know if I have that wrong.
