I recently had to replace the system drive in my computer.  I re-installed QImage Ultimate and only then realized that I had not saved my layouts.  After some searching around on the old drive and copied all of the files to the same location on the new drive.  When I clicked on File/Recall all of my layouts were there.  However, when I tried to open one, I got the following error message:
'Unable to load printer driver settings for HP Designjet Z3200ps 44in PS Class Driver'

I believe that I wound up with a newer HP driver.  My printer list shows HP DesignJet Z3200ps 44in Photo PS3.

Is this a problem with the print driver, or did I miss something in copying these files?

Thanks,
Rick

I've had  this happen over the years too.I can make it happen now by selecting an old job or latout that was made when I had an Epson 2000 printer and trying to open it.
The official printer name must match the saved name of the new printer driver.
I haven't messed with a name change in years, but I remember Mike helping me.
So hopefully Mike will see your post and I will experiment here and see if I can fix one here.

How about saving a new JOB and open the subsequent files and see what printer name was used.

Rick,
I think I remember going into Devices and Printers, right click on my printer, selecting PRINTER PROPERTIES
You will see the name of the printer. Type in the old name from saved .job files or .jpt files.
Am going by fuzzy memory, so maybe wait a little for Mike or anyone that has dealt with this recently.
See attached where I reloaded a driver and the two drivers for same printer created different names.

Fred,
Thank you so much.  I went into Devices and printers and renamed the print driver to what I was seeing in the Qimage layouts and it worked.  This saves me setting these up all over again.  Thanks again
