Can anyone duplicate the apparent double application of cutouts which display in the main screen preview and the Page Editor, but disappear when in the HQ Preview?
When coming out of the Image Editor, the cutout is applied in the Preview, then the images blinks in and out as the cutout is applied again.
I have noticed this for a while going back through past versions, but now I'm using the cutout feature more, it has become a nuisance.
There should be two screenshots attached.

Regards,

John

Hi John,
I sure hope that is your dog, because he loves you very much.

Ok Two things pop into my mind.

1) Does this happen with any cutout? Just frames? Just certain ones?   Some of the cutouts in the pack came from various sources.

2) The fact that it cures itself is saying:
"The doubled screen shot is a thumbnail image but the HQ button cures it, and that pulls up the real image."

3) I think I would first try selecting the 6 thumbs on the main screen and Right click on one (with all six selected) and click REBUILD SELECTED THUMBS.

4) Last item I would try if #3 didn't fix it, is to turn off the monitor profile and see if it stops doubling.

John,
I am able to repeat the issue with "certain colored frames" only.
Regular cutouts do not show the double.
After further review, this has no effect on the printing to paper or to file.

I checked and this has been true in old versions when these frames were added to the package of cutouts.
I  don't know why... but it certainly doesn't hurt anything.

You can inspect the image with Insta view (Hold the left mouse button on an image) ... or set the Page editor to ALL IMAGES, and the issue with frames  disappears.

Thanks Fred.
It's always pleasing when the issue can be duplicated by other users.
Your #3 Rebuild thumbs works best.
All Images in the Page Editor slows the work rate down too much.
The cutout is a jpg made in Paint Shop Pro. I'll assess others I have made by other users.
It would be good if this hickup could be terminated in future updates, that is if the issue isn't related to the cutout file.
Yes, he's my dog.
Thanks for your assistance once again Fred.

John,
Anyone who loves his dog is a good person.
... and for that we forgive the two-tone socks!!!

 Shocked
