Hi. I have been running Qimage forage and love it and rely on it. Yesterday I downloaded a new update. But now I cannot run the programme and have a stream of printing to do. I have added a screen shot of the problem and have never had this before. I have tried to go to folders and I think I have permissions. but am stumped as to what to do. Can you help?

Looking at your image, I tried to find that location on my computer and could not.

Though I did find ddisoftware at

C:\ProgramData\ddisoftware\Qimage

Try running the installer again and make sure to run it under your user account: the one you intend to use for Qimage Ultimate.  Most problems like this are caused by running the installer under admin and then switching to another user account when you actually want to use Qimage.  That's the only way you can end up with no access to your own user files.

Thanks for your help Mike. It seems the only way I can now run it is by R/clicking and choosing Run as Administrator, then having to log I as Admin with password etc. I didn't ever (in the last eleven years :-) of using have to do this. Do you know how I could change it back to running from a click on the Icon?

If you are having to log in as admin, it sounds like you ran the installer as admin and you are now using a limited account to actually use Qimage.  Did you try the method I suggested: running the installer again under your own user account?

I see the same problem on my system (Window 10).
My guess is a problem with the installation of the lightroom plugin.
I don't use Lightroom, but there might by some garbage from an old lightroom vesrion 1 from 10 yiear ago or so.
What might be the reason for this. I do not need the Lightroom-Plugin.

Thanks
Winfried

P.S.: Since I allways keep copies of the pder versions, I reinstalled version qu24-100p.exe and this version works
and is installable with my personal account. ok, I am asked for the admin-account during the instalation process.
But that is how it worked for years.
