Hi All,

I’ve been an owner of Qimage for several years. I'm currently using the Ultimate version. This is a great tool and once I started using it, I never looked back.

I sometimes use Qimage to print business cards. I have a business card image template made from a .tif file and then reduce the size of the image to about 3.5” x 1.5” After that I make copies in Qimage of the image by hitting the Ins key to first make a row of images, then use select all and hit the Ins key to make a 2nd row and so on until I have about 200 images.

By the time I’ve about ¾ filled the area, Qimage becomes verrrrry slow to respond. Is there a better way to do this?

Also, is there a way in Qimage to put about a 1 mm border around each card?

Thanks!

If you know the number of cards, just type it in where it says, COPIES,     Then add one to the queue and you get 200.
In a few minutes, version 217 comes out and that will speed things up a whole lot.

Border> Easy one.
Just R/mouse on the preview panel with all the copies in the queue, and SELECT ALL.
Then R/ mouse click the preview panel and use Make a Mat. Set mat size to 1mm, and whatever you make will apply to all the images.
