Mike Title: Re: v2013.102 issues/comments Post by: Mack on October 27, 2012, 05:12:43 PM Don't know if this belongs here or where, but Canon updated their printer drivers and even a firmware into their 9000 Mark II printer on Oct. 12, 2012. Might be part of the Windows 8 roll-out thing, but it also installed and redid the firmware for Windows 7 64-bit as well. There were a lot of them too, but this is the first firmware burn to the printer I've seen and don't know what it did there.
Two warnings popped up in Qimage launch. I don't know how much has been destroyed behind the scenes with the new upgrade and firmware burn to (That had to be done with Microsoft's involvement as well??) , but much of what was in Canon's pop-ups has changed to maybe the original factory defaults? I don't know if the ICM profiles have changed either. I noticed the XPS extension on the printer has gone too. Just a FYI. Mack |
