I downloaded 105 without any issues. Did not change anything on my Win7 op system.

Tried to download 107 with the email password supplied and now I get---"This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required".

What should I change?

Mike, it appears that your firewall on your server is set too high.

If not, why is my download request being rejected.

Nothing on my win 7 64b computer has changed since I last downloaded update 105.

Are you sure you have got the password correct, from the v107 update e-mail? I recommend copy & paste from the e-mail.

Terry, here is the email information I received. I copied and pasted the password as shown and typed in qimage.

Richard,
It is an absolute No-No to post that password information.  :o
I've deleted it.
You had better contact Mike direct at mchaney@ddisoftware.com

Terry
PS. request the information again here.

It may well change very soon as the PW has been posted.

Download Q-U...a breeze.  What a great program.
However, every time I open Q-U I get the "nag" window: Unable to establish connection with the registration verification server.

No change for the past two days.
Anyone have any ideas??

Thanks in advance.
Richard

Hi Richard,
I cannot replicate that message.... even if I turn off my router.
Could you click on HELP and then select REGISTRATION INFO
See if your dialogue box matches mine.  Especially the GREEN CHECK MARK  on COMPLETE REGISTRATION button.
I have a feeling that you might not have completed the second half of the registration..... plus  check to see if your firewall security is preventing Qimage from contacting the server.

Weird stuff going on.

I just launched QU and got the Registration window message too.  Same QU 107 version.  Entered my email and another window about not being able to connect to authentication server issue (can't recall the exact server stuff.)???  Then I got some 5 second removal of this window stuff after that trying to launch the program which used to work prior.

Re-loaded the same version again the registration window, but it took the email addy this time and seems to be working for the time being.

I did get the download email with the password and where to get it from from the alternate way of getting the software.  Seems to be something wrong with the verification server being down or something.  Dunno.

Hello everybody,

I'm quite new to this forum but not so new to qimage. Is there a special forum or form for feature request etc.?

Wolfgang

Wolfgang

This is a friendly forum.
You can ask here, or better yet, in the Qimage Ultimate section.

Happy New year,
Fred

Hi , I'm having a few problems.  I have the same problem with downloading QU in that I'm getting access denied and like many others, I'm using IE9 and w7 64bit and haven't changed anything since using the previous versions.  I'm also getting an error message when opening up QU, I get the following error as QU attempts to build thumnails of each image in the folder and its very annoying:

Cannot open file"C:\ProgramData\ddisoftware\Qimage\q.bmp". The system cannot find the file specified.

Please help.

Rgds

David

It was only one or two!
Sounds like you are probably using an out of date password.
Try this: click Help,  About Qimage and then Update Now on the Q logo.
You should get an automated e-mail sent to your registered address with a link, user name and password (keep to yourself please!).

This is the grey Q logo that temporarily fills the thumbnail positions.
Try browsing to that location and see if it is there. The folder may have become locked or the install was corrupted.
Try re-installing over the top; you may need to temporarily disable you anti-virus program too.
