v2013.118 adds the ability to toggle auto-instaview on/off with the middle mouse button.

This feature has been part of Ultimate for a long while, but now that the Instaview is prominent and very useful on a daily basis, I thought it beneficial to remind the old users and to alert the new users to this feature.
Very Handy...

You all know that a blue or purple file name indicates that you have made some adjustment to a Raw image in the REFINE mode.
Did you remember that the INSTAVIEW screen shows a quick look at what you did to that image?

You can quickly see the areas of adjustment...
Image 016 is a very drastic shot (on purpose) You can see that the INFO shows that the Exposure was adjusted, the FILL is at 20, up from an Auto Focus of 2, and the HDR slider was at 9 (High Dynamic Range)

Image 017 Shows that the Exposure was adjusted and the White Balance was set.

Image 018 shows White Bal was touched up, and the FILL light was one tick up from the Auto Focus setting of 4.

Image 019 shows no adjustments to the Raw image in REFINE.
Frankly, I had to search for some images that had revised settings.

So you can see that a fast look at Instaview will remind you whether you did or did not set the White Balance... or whatever you are looking for.

Have fun!
