Odd thing happened today. I printed an 8.5x11 and it printed only a corner of the image, almost like it was trying to print on a 13x19. Print dialog said I needed to add more paper. Qimage shows the right paper size and so does printer setup. Here is the image of my nice in Qimage I was printing for my sister. And below that is what printed....Also, I just printed some 8.5x11 just the other day and did not change the setting when printing today.

I am pretty sure I am doing something wrong....  ;D

"Also, I just printed some 8.5x11 just the other day and did not change the setting when printing today."

Is that not your clue?

Did you change the paper size in the Printer Driver? By that I mean the driver for your printer - not just  Qimage?

8.5x11 the other day, 8.5x11 today. 8.5x11 was chosen in Qimage and Printer Driver/Setup. I did not change anything since I am using the same paper and settings I was using when it printed fine. Not sure what clue you're seeing.

"Not sure what clue you're seeing."

Neither am I after a night's sleep (and an amazing 90 minute power outage over West London yesterday evening).

We'll have to wait til the gurus awake.

It looks like there's some enlargement accidently set in the printer driver, not an unknown problem!
I'm not sure what you mean by "Print dialogue said I needed to add more paper" unless Multi-page printing is selected in the driver.
I suggest you carefully check the "Page Setupt" driver settings for either "scaled" and "multi-page" printing. I think those are the Canon driver terms, see screen shot below.

So today, printed the same image and did not touch any settings....and it printed fine. Oh, well.

There must have been some difference - computers are completely logical, it's us that are not  :o  ;D
I suggest, if not already doing so, you set the driver to show the print preview; this will avoid wasting paper and ink.
