v2014.212 offers major improvements to EXIF (image info) functionality:

  • Full EXIF on saves/conversions: Converted or saved JPEG/TIFF images retain full EXIF info.
  • GPS info: GPS coordinates on info dialog can be copied to clipboard or displayed in Google Maps.
  • Other EXIF fields: More fields available such as shooting program, metering modes, exposure comp. and more.

Hello Fred and Terry, would you please replicate what I'm about to describe to see if it's repeatable on your end.
I have an Optimal/spaced /A4 preview page onto which I place enough images to run into a second page. The print size doesn't matter.
I Select All, go to Photo Mat, Add Photo Mat with Shrink photo selected.
The first page of prints has the expected mat added, but the second page doesn't, the mat is under the print. The shrink instruction hasn't worked on the second page.
With everything still selected, I go to Photo Mat, but this time put the mat around the photo. That works on both pages, correctly placed outside the original shrink photo mat on the first page, but with the second page showing only one mat, on the outside. The first shrink photo mat remains hidden under the originally sized image.
This started for me with V211. I have 212 installed.
I have a nice photo mat print I'll submit to the Challenge later tonight. It was done with a very early photo mat version.
I've been enjoying the feature up to this point.
I've tried many different scenarios with this problem. The above is the simplest way of explaining it.
Thanks for your time.

Thanks for the report.  I'm able to reproduce that here so I'm working on a fix now.

Thanks Mike.
I didn't want to muddy the waters with this one.
I don't know if this is significant or not, but when I installed 212 a Floating Point error or something similar was present for the first couple of times I opened QIU. That error has since vanished.
Also today when trying to sort out my thoughts with the matt problem, the program froze twice. Something I've not experienced before.

That could be anything.  Could be a corrupted image header or corrupted QU settings.  First try v2013.213 which I just released.  That fixes the mat adding problem.  Then we'll go from there but if you see any of the above again, I'll need a sequence to track it down such as what type of image(s) you are working with, exactly when the error appears, if the problem only occurs on some images (or folders), etc.
