v2015.103 Sep 13, 2014 Priority: Low v2015.103 adds #copies to saved layouts and fixes an issue with resizing test strips. Mike Title: Re: v2015.103 issues/comments Post by: Lurcherjohn on September 16, 2014, 03:22:07 PM OK, I give up,
What does "adds #copies to saved layouts" mean? I understand that # in the US means No., ie number of, but how does it work and what is it for? John Title: Re: v2015.103 issues/comments Post by: Terry-M on September 16, 2014, 06:15:46 PM Hi John,
Quote What does "adds #copies to saved layouts" mean? I understand that # in the US means No., ie number of, but how does it work and what is it for? Saved layouts are what you use to make a template; rather than use actual images, a template is used instead, there's one at the end of every set of thumbs in a folder. It's treated like an image wrt size and position on the page. When the template is recalled using Custom/Saved layout, it can be loaded with real images - it saves time when a specific layout is used over and over. The new feature of "adds #copies to saved layouts" means that if you want to add multiple copies of an image to the template, the number can be specified as part of the saved template layout. I see how that works. I use saved layout template jobs with loads of variables and recall them. I'll have a play with the #copies and see if it's easier. John |
