I am a registered  user of qimage ultimate. I spend a few months in Florida and would like to have qimage on my laptop here. My program is installed on my computer in Montreal. Is it legal to have a second copy of the program? Obviously the desktop version will not be used as it is a few thousand  miles away!
thanks

Yes it is OK to install in both locations. The criterion is that only one copy will be used at a time.

Yes, as Fred said, many people install on multiple computers even in the same location: for example your desktop and your laptop.  Since this gets asked quite often, I'll try to help out by explaining this type of license below.

The license agreement that spells out all the details is in the "ReadMe" in the Qimage Ultimate program group and is also displayed during the install.  Simply put, you're free to install it on as many computers as you like as long as you are the only user.  And as Fred indicated, that is usually defined as only one copy being used at any given time.

This type of license is pretty standard and is intended to allow multiple installations under typical conditions like:

- A single user using multiple computers
- Multiple users using a single computer (for example, a workstation used by multiple people where QU is installed under multiple accounts on that individual workstation)

In both cases above, only one copy is being used at any given time.
