Hello Mike.

Would appreciate more information about the update and it's specific uses. Is it not useful for printing routine high resolution images?

Thanks.

Peter

It's not noticeable in photos.  The improvement is mainly for printing "mechanical" test images like resolution charts with alternating line pairs and other line type graphics.

Today I tried to print a file at 35x43" and at the end of the print I noticed a large white block of missing info.I resaved the file as jpeg and tried again;same effect, different block missing.I reseted the drivers and used raw transmitting from preferences and rendering was too fast then the printer just cuted a large a long empty page from the roll.
I reverted to the previous version and printed just fine.

Thanks,
Silviu

Hi Silviu,

To my knowledge, nothing has been changed in the print routine, so lets check something.
1)  Check Edit Preferences/ Printing Options, and make sure the format is set to RAW, for large prints.
2) Open Printers and devices in Windows, anr right click on your printer. Select Printer Properties, and then the Advanced tab.
Make sure there is NO check mark in the ENABLE ADVANCED FEATURES box.

See attached screen snaps.
That should fix it.

v2017.126 will fix that problem.  It was a memory management issue when printing larger prints.

Fred, why do you recommend no check mark in the ENABLE ADVANCED FEATURES box ?

Hi Silviuv

Glad you found it. It would take me a while to find it.
Just want to point out to all..... what you bought when you bought your Qimage Ultimate.
1) The best printing and image program
2) The best customer attention and service.
