I've just started using Qimage Ultimate (v2018.108) with a new Canon TS9050 printer. It came with some sample sheets of 10x15cm Photo Paper Plus Glossy 2. I've loaded the paper into the rear printer tray and set the size in the printer driver and Qimage to 6x4 and Landscape.
(Quick set up and page set up in the driver, Canon TS9000 series XPS also set to boarderless)
(In Qimge I have Media size 4"x6" W:6.0 L:4.0 Orientation Landscape).

In the Qimage main view it is titled Page 1/1: 5.991 x 3.995 in. (622 x 622)
The image appears to be a landscape image filling a landscape orientated page.

When I try to print it comes out (and is shown in print prieview) portrait.

What am I doing wrong?
Help would be much appreciated

Hi dgmphoto, welcome to the forum.

What am I doing wrong?
I have installed the driver for the Canon TS9050 printer on my PC. However, because there's no actual printer connected, I do not get a print preview.
As far as I can see, QU is working perfectly and the page orientation etc. set in QU is matching the driver and if set in the driver, QU responds accordingly.
I did notice there's a driver setting that could be causing the problem - in the Page Setup tab there's a "Rotate 180 degrees" tick box. That should not, in theory, cause your problem but worth checking. See attached screen shot
The only other question would be, are you loading the paper in portrait mode?

Thanks for the idea. I had seen the 180 degree option (it doesn't change the print preview view, and I've not tried printing with it).

With this printer you do have to register the paper in the rear tray, both size and type on the printer's front screen. There is no option when registering the size to indicate the orientation. I tried changing the size to other rather than 4"x6" and this does get the print preview to show landscape. BUT it still prints portrait.

It shouldn't be this difficult!!!
