Looks like a great update, I will have to install and do a more detail study later. Previously all updates ran smoothly and I have not made recent changes to my PC except for the Windows updates. Use AVG Antivirus - Paid version. Disabling it for the installation did not help. The only option is a "DO NOT RUN" button at the top right cancel " Any suggestions appreciated. With the lack of specifics in the error message I do not even know where to start and experience tells me I only make matter worse if I try random changes. :-[ :-[ Roy Sletcher Title: Re: v2021.100 issues/comments Post by: admin on November 23, 2020, 03:14:50 AM You probably have your Windows Defender settings cranked all the way up. There's some info on this page:
https://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/fix-no-run-anyway-option-on-smartscreen-windows-10/ If that doesn't work, you can also click on the Windows search icon and type "Reputation" and then click on "Reputation-based protection". Then turn off "Potentially unwanted app blocking" long enough to install it. This SmartScreen protection is not particularly "smart". It blocks everything until it has been downloaded enough times and develops this "reputation". Who knows how slow Microsoft will be in updating their reputation database. I sent them a message alerting them that we renewed our code signing certificate and the new one needs to be in the reputation database. It was fixed in just a few hours so maybe MS uses Qimage. :)

On clinking link am taken to a screen asking for username and password to access ddisoftware site (see attached file). Have tried disabling smartscreen, realtime scanning, firewall and bypass password manager no effect. Any more ideas?

Looks like you clicked the link from the registration email: the username and password are supplied in that same email. You can enter that username/password from the email to access the site; please don't post the username/password here as they are for registered users only so they can download the installer.
