When I export from LR to QImage using the plugin, I get 2 new identical image files, one in a dated folder under Plugins>Export (as normal) and one directly under Plugins/Export (this started after a recent update, not sure which one).  File|Open (not using the plugin) only creates the file in a dated [Files] folder.  How can I omit the extra file created at the Export level?  Thank you!

That's always been the way it works: you don't need to get rid of the files in the top level Export folder.  That folder always contains your most recent export (only) as it is a temporary folder.  No need to delete anything.
