Fred, such comparisons for my R800 printers does not offend me.
One of the R800 printers (NEW OLD Stock) was lifted from the Epson Shipping box last week and installed for the first time. I purchased it several years ago as a spare since I like this Model with both Matte and Photo Black inks.

Years ago, Terry had an R 800 and I had R1800. They were essentially the same except that R 800 was 8.5 inches wide , while the 1800 was a 13" carriage. We both loved our printers and compared a lot.
