Why is that when opening up Qimage and looking at some new files for printing I get a warning that says there is some sort of problem with my file type. But when I click on OK the file opens without any problem?

Jules,
It is hard to tell from the excluded name what it is. It has some sort of .flt in the name followed by psd.
The .flt is Qimage's filter suffix...
I would go into Explorer and delete THAT file. It says that the problem is zero bytes.
It doesn't appear to be an image, but hard for me to tell with that name.

Thanks Fred. The flt is just part of my own naming system. I just add it to the file name after retouching and it refers to the fact that the file is a flattened on in PS and not Layers. I keep files in 16 bit and layers when working. Then when finished I flatten them and reduce them to 8 bit to save space and enable Qimage to handle them.

You have an incompatible PSD file (probably saved without max compatibility option).  When you click OK, all the other files are fine but that one won't show in the list.

Thanks Mike, but as I said in my first post, even though I got that warning, when I click on OK the file opened without any problem? So it's a bit of a mystery. But since I can print it no problem really. :-)
