Just reinstalled Qimage ultimate after doing a full reinstallation following a mobo failure. When I open a previously unopened folder in Qimage. I get a message that q.bmp cannot be found. One for each image in the folder. Yes that can be a lot and it can take some time to delete all of the warnings.
I checked and could not find q.bmp in the folder it was supposed to be. Looking at posts 5 years ago this is a Q icon that shows placement before the thumb is created. To prevent further problems I have created a tiny blank file called q.bmp and put it in the correct place. Now everything works ok. Have I done the right thing?

That file is located in the Qimage main folder under Programdata...
Nevertheless, I would turn off my Antivirus program for a couple of minutes; download a fresh copy of the latest Q, (in case the previous download was compromised by the aggressive AV checker), and reinstall Qimage.
Now turn the AV back on.
That should fix it.
