Not my problem but described on behalf of Bernard, another QU user. He has this problem for some months.
Windows 8, one way or another his Mark Corners stays on white where he prefers a grey.
You can not use white Corner Marks on a white paper when you have to cut a paper.
Any idea what could cause this?

Bernard and I once asked for a choice in Corner Marks color with the idea to reduce cutting time by cutting precisely through the line (many close nested prints with borders) and with a faint color the marks residue would not be noticed. The way this choice was implanted (border color related) I found risky when going to the next jobs so I ceased to use that method, kept black as the choice and gave 0.5 mm extra border and do cutting twice. I think I mentioned later on that a choice for color on the Corner Marks, etc should be in preferences, stay like that forever and not be related to border color choices. Just an opinion of course.

I believe Ernst wasn't talking about a bug, but a simple situation when you want to print with a border (lets say white) and have a light gray corner marker. If your border is white (or any color actually) you cannot choose "Mark corners: use border color" as the corner markers would be indistinguishable from the border. You are forced to use the usual "Mark corners" (black).

Bernard no longer has this problem he says. As I understand it things went wrong when he had Qimage installed on a new system but for one reason or another the white corner marks disappeared again and he can use grey ones again. He never has a conflict with the borders anyway as he does not use QU borders feature but Photoshop to create borders. I do use QU's border setting but do not alter the corner mark's color to avoid unwished border's colors on the next job.
