Hi,
By default, this option is set to "on" in the printerdriver.
According to the help function;
'Select this check box to optimize an enlargement to achieve long poster or panoramic printing without using a particular application. Clear this check box if text or graphics are distorted; however, output length may be limited depending on the application'.
Using Qimage Ultimate, should I disable this option in the printer driver?

Regards, Martin.

Hello Martin.
The reason that the box is checked and which will leave you vulnerable to mis sized prints is due to you shutting of the printer A I in Qimage. Mike has designed A I to remove the possibility of the user messing up printer settings.
Simply click on the gear wheel next to the Properties button  and put the checks back into the boxes at the bottom. Or click defaults,
Fred

As Fred said, you would have to turn off Driver AI for Qimage to allow that checkbox to be checked.  Just to show you, here is what happens when you check it: Qimage will just turn it back off.

Mike

You don't even have to uncheck it.  If you check it, Driver AI is just going to override you and uncheck it anyway.  So just click the gear button to the right of the "Properties" button in Qimage and make sure all the AI checkboxes are checked.  After that, don't even bother opening the driver.  You don't need to.
