It seems that Qimage is getting a little slow in comparison to other applications when using a faster 64 bit OS with Quad core plus processors and faster memory, etc.  Any plans for a 64 bit version in the hopes of speeding it up a little?

Isn't it already, see the red text on the web page here http://www.ddisoftware.com/qimage/

Have you got your preferences set to Quad core: Edit\Preferences\Hyper processing, both Thumbs and Printing?

Yes I have the Quad core settings on in preferences. I think that red text on the web page means it will install, not that it is 64 bit. I think if it was a 64 bit application it would install in the Program Files folder. It installs in the Program Files (X86) folder which is for 32 bit applications. Perhaps Mike is off to bigger and better projects and Qimage is not very high on the list any more.

Problem fixed. See "Speed of Qimage" topic.
