Title: Borderless with caption
Post by: mogur2 on March 12, 2010, 12:35:32 AM
Hi,
I use the Epson R1900 printer.  How can I print border-less with a caption with just the file name?  I tried, but the caption is cut off.

Try using the floating test option in the right click menu in the Full Page Editor.
You can select the choice of name option from the list that is blue.
Then position that text exactly where you want it on the print.

Just to add to Fred's reply, the caption is cut off because of the image expansion created by the driver, required for borderless printing.
Try turning off expansion in the Qimage Page Formatting menu but you may need to tweak the page margins to avoid thin slivers of white paper on some edges of the print.
Fred's suggestion of using floating text gives the most flexibility, even when expansion is turned off.
Terry.
