Title: Exporting from lightroom for Qimage print
Post by: holdgaj on November 30, 2016, 01:02:20 PM
I'm new to Qimage & would appreciate advice on settings for lightroom export for printing from Qimage. At the moment I'm exporting a full sized TIFF in Adobe RGB. I'm not sure if I should be selecting the Printer/Paper profile when doing this export & am also unsure as to what resolution to select. I presume as high as possible ... Thanks for helping  in advance

Hi J
Having little expertise with Lightroom, I cannot advise there.
But I can say that a full size TIF is usually fine, and leave the resolution alone.
Qimage Ultimate does the best interpolation on the planet, and will decide the proper data to go to the printer.
If you adjust the resolution in Lightroom, you will be interpolating twice; not the best idea to get the best quality print.

Adobe color space is fine too.

You didn't mention what printer, and what paper/matching profiles you use.
Example:  If you have an Epson using Epson Ultra Luster paper, and you are using the Ultra  Luster profile that came with your printer, the driver is set to Color Management OFF and the profile goes in Qimage in the space marked profile.
