I have just purchased the current version and have received the registration code.
Last month (Jan 21) I installed the trial version (#110) which has expired.
I paused and wondered if I should uninstall that expired trial version and install the purchased version as a clean install.

I cannot recall if there were any particular settings (preferences) in that trial session and I don't see a QImage folder in the Windows7(64 bit) Roaming/ AppData.

I couldn't find a FAQ here or in the website

Not necessary. Just install the registered version.
After installing properly, you will find Qimage in Program Files (x86) and ProgramData\ddisoftware\

Enjoy it, and make this forum your home for tips, help, and how to do stuff from a lot of experienced users.

Okay, thanks. Thought I would just double check.

It seems to me that when this software first came out .....way back...I contacted and at that time the printer I was using wasn't handled by the software. I recall I thought at that time the software was the answer to 'printing issues'

In Feb. 010, a friend had a large printing project for a local library and he began to tear his hair out with 'local printing services' so he bought a Canon printer. I rediscovered QImage and directed his attention to the facilities available. His print project was completed with ease (after the Canon paper profile codes had been translated)

I didn't find the appearance and setup intricate as is described in one of this forum's posts. In fact, I stepped him through the configuration and use over the telephone <grin>

I could send an image from Lightroom to Qimage - save it as a  file (with template) in Lightroom and then print from Qimage and was pleased with the results. The monitor is only profiled with the Windows 7 colour management but the printed images look the same.

Thanks Rose.
That's the stuff that the Qimage author / owner likes to hear.
