Had to reload Win 10 and the list of HP designjet profiles is gone. I can no longer find them online and they seem to be replaced with obtuse "om" files. These om files don't self install. Anyone know what has happened to the profile list that has disappeared from HP sources.

Manufacturer profiles typically load when you install the printer driver.  Some manufacturers have a separate download for them though.  Check the HP site under support and see what files are available for download.  I assume you already reinstalled the driver for your printer (from the HP site) so presuming you did that, check to see if there are any supplemental files you need to install to get the profiles.
