For the first time I needed to look back in the logs (I've never even configured the log behavior). The file printer.txt was nice as everything was in there and I could search just a single file looking for stuff. The file stopped logging though in 2007 (March in my case - I don't upgrade all that often) v2005.302 was the last entry.

The only other entries in the log folder were the last 100 jobs (I've since configured to keep all logs). Fortunately, the information I was seeking was quite old and contained in the printer.txt file.

Is there a way to re-enable the single logfile? If not, please add this to the wish list!

Thanks.

The printer.txt file is obsolete.  Just configure Qimage to save all jobs and all the information you need will be stored (and will be retrievable and searchable too).

It works as is now, but just not as 'convenient' as having it all in one text file that is easy to spin through. I found it nice to be able to zip back and forth through the cumulative log, being able to see things that would have taken a (small) amount of effort by searching the individual job entries.

Thanks.

Sure.  I understand.  Pluses and minuses of both formats but I think overall the new format is more flexible.
