Title: Is there a way to show grid line in Full Page Editor? Post by: JayL on September 02, 2010, 09:01:48 AM I’m using Studio Edition and trying to find an easier way to place multiple images for roll paper.

I used to love those movable grid guides in Corel Draw. I know just what you mean. Just wanted to mention, if it might help, that there is a built in Snap to Grid feature in the Right Mouse menu that kicks the image to a "rounded off" nuber location. In other words, you want your left hand guide to be lets say, 1.50 inches from the left edge of the paper, the Snap to Grid will lock all the selected to the 1.50 mark as long as you were close enough. Post by: Terry-M on September 02, 2010, 09:53:08 AM Don't forget there is the CTRL Arrow control for aligning prints to each other in the Full Page Editor.
Position one image in the corner of the page, than use CTRL Arrow to align the images in the columns and rows separately. That's quite quick & accurate assuming your prints can be aligned in that way. Terry Title: Re: Is there a way to show grid line in Full Page Editor? You can align subsequent images to the vertical edge (one below the other), or the both planes. Just align your first image paying attention to the rulers at the top and sides, so you can accurately place it. Then select the next, and tap CTRL Arrow in the direction you want to go, and it aligns itself to the first image. I didn’t know such function is there. It’s so fun to use CTRL arrow and I played with it for more than ten minutes to get used to it. ;D Although, CTRL arrow is not exactly what I was looking for, it will save my time quite a bit. Thanks again for the great tip. Jay |
