Title: Landscape/portrait orientation problem
Post by: ChicagoRob on November 13, 2011, 04:07:42 PM
I have a file that I want to put into the print queue in landscape
orientation. As soon as it goes into the queue, it reverses to
portrait mode. If I change the mode to portrait in Print Properties,
the image switches to landscape mode. It always does opposite
of what I want. I have no problems with any of my other files.

I'm sure I'm doing something stupid, but haven't a clue on how
to remedy the situation.

Hi Rob,
Just below the page preview, there is a little Padlock icon, click that to the lock the orientation. It will then match the thumbnail orientation.
See screen shot attached below.

Thanks a lot, Terry-M. Just tried your suggestion and it worked perfectly. It's strange that this
particular file required the lock, but it's good to know, just in case.

It depends on the aspect ratio of the image and usually on how it was cropped.
