I have been using Qimage for over a year now with remarkable results. However my PC is self-destructing, and I have just ordered a Mac.  Two Questions?

First, will Qimage run in Mac? (please say yes)

Second, contingent on above answer ... can I use my product key to unlock the Mac version, or do I have to purchase a new product key?

Thanks, Beverly

From front page....  http://www.ddisoftware.com/qimage/

    *  Fully compatible with Vista 32/64, Windows XP, 2000, NT, ME, 98, 95
    * Use Virtual PC or Parallels to run on a Mac.  Also runs under Linux/Wine.

Several are running it using various emulators on a MAC.

 HTH

Thanks - I am curious as I am new to the Mac world ... do folks find it runs better in Virtual PC or in Parallels? I would like to purchase from the start the proper auxilliary software. (I am assuming that I would need to nest a Windows OS inside my Mac for either of these ... correct?  Again, should I buy XP or the dreaded Vista, which is currently running pre-installed on my PC ... do folks find one runs better in a Mac system thatn another, or that one carries Qimage better?)?

Thanks for your reply.

I think most people are using Parallels or Fusion these days to run Qimage on a Mac.  I updated the Mac info page a couple weeks ago:

Sun's Virtual Box (http://www.virtualbox.org/) is also worth checking out. I use the Ubuntu (Linux) and  Windows host versions.

One more question ... is anyone using Qimage in CodeWeaver's Cross-over program?
