Title: No span to multiple pages
Post by: JacquesG on March 04, 2018, 12:07:49 PM
Version 2009.269. When dropping file on the page I get the message in the attached file. I want to answer NO cause I want to print on one page with freehand placement. Answering yes or no does not change anything. I used to be able to do it. What doI miss ? Thanks.

Sir,
Luckily, I have a copy of a 2010 version of Qimage, otherwise I could not remember back 10 years ago.
The new version of Ultimate still works the same way.
When Qimage is faced with a print size request that exceeds the paper size's printable area, it offers the user two choices.
One is to fit the print to the available paper size's printable area. That occurs if you click "NO"
The other is to change to poster mode where it will tell you with small red numbers that it will print it for you as requested but it will need extra pages.  That is a YES reply from you.
As for Freehand, all working properly
Fred

Well, for me I can click yes or no on the message box, it always shows up when I redrop a file on the Edit page area.
I played with resizing the photo. When I set the largest dimension to less than 3001 pixels, it works.
No big deal, I'll live with that, I don't print posters.
Thanks anyway.

Sir,
I forgot to mention that you cannot use Freehand when in poster mode because the pages must butt together exactly. So if you try to drop an image as a print larger that the printable area, and you are in Freehand, it will make page 2.
